Ga Pet Coalition Speaks Out About H.B. 573 Prohibition on the Outdoor Sales of Companion Animals

Peggy McCarthey, representing the Georgia Pet Coalition, spoke this morning at the Georgia Capital House Agricultural Hearing on H.B. 573: Prohibition on the Outdoor Sales of Dogs, Cats, and Domestic Rabbits.

H.B. 573 makes the outdoor sales of dogs, cats and pet rabbits illegal. It protects consumers, removes opportunities for illegal pet sales by backyard breeders and puppy mills, and cuts local government costs.
